That shiny insulated unit maintaining a perfect 39°F around the clock feels like an upgrade in every sense. More consistent, less messy, way more convenient. But convenience and physiological stimulus aren’t the same thing, and there’s a decent chance your “better” ice bath is quietly giving you less than the janky version ever did.

The Convenience Trap

How to Actually Fix This
